The Red Lions banked on timely baskets from Daryl Nazareno in the final three minutes as they repulsed the Enderun College Titans, 67-58, in the senior division.
Cameroonian big man Daniel Tankaoua showed the way with 19 points for the Red Lions, while Ervin Maravilla topscored with 21 points for the Titans.
Tankoua’s split from the free throw line at the 3:18 mark allowed the Red Lions to keep their distance, 62-54.
Nazareno then delivered the finishing touches, including a triple, a drive, then a baseline jumper that handed San Beda a nine-point edge, 67-58, with 61 seconds to go.
