Seems like everything's fine for San Beda as they prepare for the coming semifinal round of the NCAA.

The Red Lions just had their team building session over the weekend facilitated by Gilas coach Chot Reyes in lieu of the upcoming NCAA Season 89 Final Four.

In an article from Interaksyon, the team said that they’re unaffected by the allegations currently surrounding them.

Koga was accused of playing in other tournament while the NCAA basketball season was still ongoing.

The investigation is in progress without any protest filed. (Read: No Complaint Filed, But NC Will Look Into Alleged Gaffe)

Meanwhile, Red Lions coach Boyet Fernandez believes that the controversy will only add fuel to the team’s desire to win a fourth straight NCAA title.

“I believe this will make them stronger,” Fernandez said.

The players share the same sentiment and claim that the recent development will not have a negative effect on their preparations.

Forward Art Dela Cruz pointed out that the team has become even closer and developed a strong sense of team unity.

Fernandez, too, thinks that the team has moved past any doubts and firmly believes that they’re on track for the final four.

The top seeded and twice-to-beat Red Lions will face the UPHSD Altas on November 7 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
