After Superman, it's the King Red Lion's turn for a triple-double
Lions continue rampage, thrash Generals for win No. 10
League-leading San Beda College (SBC) used another third quarter explosion in its latest demolition job of Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC).
The Red Lions, now holding a 10-0 record, overcame a tight first half in cruising to a 92-68 triumph over the struggling Generals on Friday in the 86th NCAA men's basketball tournament at The Arena in San Juan City.
Garvo Lanete started strong offensively for the Mendiola-based cagers then Anthony Semerad took charge for the Lions leading that huge third quarter breakaway.
But it was Hermida who shone the brightest for the Red Lions tallying 14 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in a stellar performance that could likely lure teams from drafting him in the PBA Rookie Draft on Sunday at the Market! Market! Place in Taguig City.
"I told him that this is his showcase (the NCAA) and he has the advantage because he's playing every week," added Lim.
