From GMANews.tv
The NCAA champions and the reigning UAAP titlists take center stage when hostilities in the 2010 Philippine Collegiate Champions League resume at the Arena in San Juan City Thursday.
Three-time reigning UAAP champion Ateneo and NCAA titlist San Beda take on separate foes.
The Lions take on the University of the East Warriors at 2 p.m. with the winners earning the right to face the La Salle Green Archers in the Elite 8.
Parading an intact lineup, the Red Lions are heavily favored over the Warriors. The Mendiola-based dribblers will display the core of the team that completed a rare sweep en route to winning the championship in the oldest collegiate league in the country.
Only one player from the recent championship squad won’t be returning this time — playmaker Borgie Hermida who already joined the PBA.
