AS THE famous line of the Bedan hymn goes, “Herald the Bedans coming, may our fellowship never cease.” The fellowship will be evident this December when San Beda Alabang holds its annual grand alumni homecoming.

The school south of Manila once again calls upon Alabang Bedans to gather and celebrate everything that is Bedan.

Formerly known as Benedictine Abbey School and St. Benedict College, and now officially called San Beda College Alabang, the school proudly continues the rich legacy of San Beda. The original college in Manila is now 110 years old.

San Beda in Manila takes pride in producing revered national figures such as Raul Roco, Ninoy Aquino, Ramon Mitra, Justice Florenz Regalado, Justice Secretary Leila De Lima and Manny Pangilinan, to name a few. The Alabang sister school has for its alumni Sen. Pia Cayetano, Rep. Abraham Mitra and musician Rico Blanco.

The alumni homecoming will be on Saturday, Dec. 4, 7 p.m. at the school gym. Tickets cost P350 each. For more details, call Mila Agregado of the Alumni Affairs Office, or Tin Duran at 809-1780 and 0917-3488875.
