Rookie Battle: Amer And Ravena At The 2011 Fil Oil Pre- Season Cup

Ateneo and San Beda, reigning champions in their respective school turf, headline the 17-team field seeing action in the 2011 FilOil Flying V Preseason Cup opening April 9 at the FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

The Blue Eagles, who are seeking a fourth straight title in the UAAP, and the NCAA titlists Red Lions will test their strength against formidable squads like Far Eastern University, University of Santo Tomas, National U, Letran, Mapua, JRU and defending champion San Sebastian.

Providing an interesting subplot to the tournament will be the unveiling of top rookies like Kiefer Ravena of Ateneo, Baser Amer of San Beda, Jeric Teng and Kevin Ferrer of UST and Bobby Ray Parks of National U.
