FilOil Premier Cup Final 4 Duels Friday

To give the semifinalists more time to prepare for the Final Four, organizers of the 2011 Filoil Flying V Hanes Premier Pre-Season Cup have rescheduled the knockout semifinals on Friday at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

Three-time UAAP champion Ateneo, Far Eastern University, Adamson University and reigning-undefeareed National Collegiate Athletic Association titlist San Beda survived last Monday’s quarterfinals to make it to the Final Four.

The Blue Eagles, which downed the Mapua Cardinals, 63-56, face the FEU Tams, who kept their winning streak with a 73-68 victory over La Salle, at 4 p.m.

The other semis match, which will be held at 2 p.m., pits San Beda College, which routed University of the Philippines, 97-68, against the Adamson Falcons, who upended the San Sebastian Stags, 90-81.
