Red Lions To Go For 11th Win, Battles Mapua

After that shocking loss from the Heavy Bombers, the undefeated champions will try to bounce back as they face another dangerous team - Mapua Cardinals.

San Beda, who is on the third spot in the standings will rely their defense on big men Jake Pascual, Kyle Pascual and Dave Marcelo. Meanwhile, King Red Lion Garvo Lanete together with Rome Dela Rosa will help the team in terms of scoring.

The mendiola-based dribblers struggled with MIT's frontliners the last time they met in Round 1.

The Cardinals, currently on 4th spot, used its height advantage to the fullest, fielding three frontliners most of the way to beat the Red Lions off the boards. But the defending champions drew a big game from Marcelo who held his ground against Yousef Taha, Mark Sarangay and Michael Parala.

Dave Marcelo's offensive response with 27.2 second left in the 4th canto gave the Red Lions a 74-68 win .

A win in this game will make the Red Lions tied with CSJL at #2 spot (11-2)
