San Beda To Extend Win Streak

San Beda takes on fellow NCAA member today as the they seek to stretch their win streaks when Filoil Flying V Pre-Season Hanes Cup resumes today at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

The Red Lions swept their first five games and are heavily favored to get past the Mapua Cardinals in the 3:30 p.m. match of another explosive triple-bill in the tournament presented by Bostik Phils. Inc. in cooperation with Total Phils. Corp.

Mapua totes a 0-1 card in Group A of the two-division tournament backed by major sponsors Vulcaseal, TMS Ship Agencies, Inc., Kia Motors, Bayo, BDO, Nature's Spring, Molten and Oxycan.

"We know every game poses a new challenge for us and Mapua has always been a tough team," said San Beda coach Ronnie Magsanoc.
