NCAA Power Rankings: San Beda Tops The Initial List
It’s two and a half weeks into the NCAA season, and the action is only just beginning. Some teams are exceeding expectations while others are falling short. Some teams have positioned themselves well moving forward, while others have dug themselves into early holes. In the first installment of the weekly power rankings, we check in to see where each of the NCAA teams stand after their opening games.

Former Red Cubs star Arthur Dela Cruz, a transferee from Ateneo, has come up big in his first season in the NCAA, scoring 18 points to lead the “Super Six” in their opener and posting a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds in their win over Lyceum. With regulars like Baser Amer and Jake Pascual back and the debut of Ola Adeogun looming, it’s hard not to put the defending champions down as the early favorites for the crown.
