Lady Red Spikers Blast Lady Knights In Women's Volleyball

San Beda Lady Red Spikers forced a four-way tie for the lead after disposing Letran Lady Knights yesterday in the NCAA women’s volleyball tournament at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

San Beda won in straight sets, 25-13, 25-16, 25-14.

Former V-League and PNP volleybelles Ces Molina unloaded four service aces for a 13-hit output and had six digs, Janine Marciano added 11 points and five digs for San Beda.

All seven players fielded in by Lady Red Spikers coach Jeorge Sucaldito scored, with Coline Malana chipping in five hits, while Mona Diolazo and Debbie Dultra added four apiece.

San Beda joined defending champion UPHSD Lady Altas, SSC-R Lady Stags and CSB Lady Blazers at 2-0.
