UAAP bests NCAA in 2010 Bantay Bata 163 Seniors All-Star Game

The winner of the Seniors UAAP-NCAA All-star game was the team that dominated the rebounding department and shot better from the field. The UAAP All-Stars outrebounded their supposedly taller NCAA counterparts 52-42, and also had a better field goal percentage, 47.5% as compared to the NCAA’s 41.7%. The final score was 90-76 in favor of the UAAP All-stars.

The NCAA All-Stars played without league MVP, Mythical Five member and Defensive Player of the Year, Sudan Daniel who was resting his injured groin. They were also coached by San Beda College Assistant Coach, Ed Cordero as Head Coach Frankie Lim was in Guangzhou, China for the 16th Asian Games as the Team Manager of the Smart Gilas National Developmental Team.

Meanwhile, the NCAA Juniors All-Stars prevailed over the UAAP Juniors All-Stars, 85-81. Baser Amer was awarded the player of the game honors as he scored 14 points. Kiefer Ravena led the UAAP Juniors All-Stars with 30 points. full story
