Defending champion San Beda returns from a long layoff Friday as it battles struggling Emilio Aguinaldo College in the 87th NCAA basketball tournament at The Arena in San Juan.
Despite an 11-day break, San Beda coach Frankie Lim is still hoping that his boys will remain sharp and deadly when they clash with the Generals at 2 p.m.
Another win over the Generals will improve the record of Season 86 undefeated team San Beda to 10-1.
The Generals (3-8) need a miracle victory if they want to keep their Final Four bid alive.
"Hope this long break would help us freshen up," said Lim, whose team saw their 26-game winning streak end with a loss to San Sebastian in the final day of the first round.
