Ronald "Ronnie" Magsanoc (born April 11, 1966) is a former Filipino professional basketball point guard. He was the former assistant coach of the Purefoods Tender Juicy Giants and a color commentator for the television coverage of the Philippine Basketball Association. He is now an assistant coach of the Meralco Bolts.
Magsanoc played highschool basketball for San Beda College then moved to the University of the Philippines also with former Red Cub Benjie Paras. UP won its championship in 1986. After giving UP it's UAAP title, he then moves on to play professional basketball in the Philippine Basketball Association.
Known as "The Point Laureate", Magsanoc is set to become the new mentor of the back-to-back NCAA basketball champions, San Beda College Red Lions.
Hopefully, we'll be able to witness his collegiate coaching debut this April 14 when San Beda plays De La Salle in the opening day of the FilOil Flying V Preseason Tournament.
There will also be high expectations on him in NCAA Season 88, as the mighty Red school from Mendiola eye for their third-straight title, the R3PEAT of the 3PEAT.
