Ola, Red Lions Gun For Lead, Battles EAC
San Beda collides with Emilio Aguinaldo College as the 88th NCAA basketball tournament resumes at the San Juan Arena this 4PM.
The Red Lions are heavily favored over the Generals with the return of Nigerian center Ola Adeogun from a four-game suspension following his participation in a brawl that involved their former coach Frankie Lim and SSC volleyball mentor Roger Gorayeb last December at San Beda’s own turf.
With a complete cast, San Beda mentor Ronnie Magsanoc is hoping to come out strong against the Generals.
After their shocking loss to Perpetual, San Beda rebounded by downing the Blazers, 59-53.
Adeogun expects to provide muscle and firepower for the Red Lions with his towering 6-foot-8 frame, but he will be challenged by EAC’s 6-foot-7 Cameroonian center Noube Happi.
