San Beda To Continue Winning Streak, Battles CSB

San Beda will try to retain the top spot as it tries for its ninth win against the Blazers as the NCAA Season 88 resumes Saturday at the FilOil Flying V Arena.

The back-to-back champion Red Lions will still rely on Jake Pascual, Art Dela Cruz, Ola Adeogun, Baser Amer and Rome Dela Rosa for a good headstart. Dela Rosa, though, might see limited minutes after undergoing a minor surgery on his nose last Monday. The son of former PBA player Romy Dela Rosa will have to wear a protective face mask for a month.

Benilde will have Rhoel Maconocido back in its fold, while Joel Tolentino still has two more games to serve before he could suit back up for the Blazers. Tolentino’s three-game suspension is from the fracas during the Blazers’ game against EAC.

The Red Lions are currently at the top spot with an 8-2 record while the Blazers are at ninth place with a 3-7 win-loss card.
